まずは審査員である前に一人の表現者として最も触発され且つ激しく打ちのめされた作品と言わねばなりません。本作は所謂ナラティブを排除した地点から出発しながら結果として極めて純度の高い「造形ドラマ」の可能性を垣間見せてくれます。ミクロとマクロをストイックに溶接させるアプローチは、1980年代の「構造映画」を彷彿させますが、本作に於いては厳格無比な構造性そのものが逆説的に豊かな「詩情」を醸し出しているところにアクティブな同時代性を感じました。「生命」という語源的スピリットに於いて、これほど「アニメーション」の名に相応しい作例は稀有と言えるでしょう。
First of all, I must say this film inspired and even beaten me as an artist before being a member of the jury. It departs from the point where the so-called narrative is eliminated but makes us glimpses the possibility of what can be called "plastic drama", in a highly pure way. This approach to weld micro and macro together reminded me of "Structural Film" of the 1980s but in this work, this rigid structure itself bear rich "poetry", which is very contemporary. This film is “animation” in In the etymological spirit: "breath of life”.
